2006 Palisade User Conference:
Asia-Pacific
Sydney 7-8 September

Palisade is pleased to announce the success of its first Asia-Pacific User Conference.  Held in Sydney on 7-8 September, 2006, the event attracted practitioners, academics, and consultants from across the Asia-Pacific region.

“We are very pleased with the turnout and the quality of presentations,” noted Palisade Asia-Pacific Managing Director Mark Meurisse.  “Delegates from across the spectrum of business and academia attended, and indicated they learned real-world techniques they could apply to their practical problems.”

Attendees had the opportunity to hear a keynote speech from one of the leading experts on integrated project risk assessment and financial risk modelling, author Dr. Stephen Grey, as well as explore firsthand industry case studies on the applications of risk and decision analysis in sectors ranging from manufacturing to agriculture, and from finance to government.  Furthermore, delegates spent time with Palisade’s top software engineers in scheduled roundtable discussions, gained modelling insights with hands-on software training, and networked with other decision-makers. 

The Sydney conference was the second of a global series of User Conferences from Palisade in 2006 that commenced with an event in London, England, and wraps up this November in Miami, Florida.
